every time i try to run the launcher it says The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) please help

listen, unless someone's gonna die or be horribly maimed if you don't get on minecraft, it's not urgent. if you had bothered to even do a little looking on your own you would have found a million different places that explain what that error is.

you don't have the .net framework installed, or don't have the latest version of it installed. go install it.

alternatively, use the .jar launcher.

Also, "Launcher Version: The newest one" is not helpful.

Imagine, five minutes after you've posted that message the team pushes out a new launcher version.

Which version were you on again?
