Bart Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Hello I work for a minecraft server hosting company (No names, might get into trouble) and quite a few of my customers are wanting Tekkit. We are having an issue with Java 1.7 but they are all fine using Tekkit 2.0. Launcher/pack Version: 2.0 Operating System: Debian 64bit Version of Java: 1.7 Description of Problem: Server doesn't start up due to error below: Error Messages: ModLoader has failed to Initialize Link to pastebin of log: http://pastebin.com/j2PHmwft Thanks, Bart MOD EDIT: You'd think that when your hosting company's ability to do something is on the line you'd read the forum rules first.
0 Madlax Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I am friend of a host we are also have this same exact issue was hopping we could find a quick and fast fix thanks
0 freakachu Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 that log isn't even complete. what do you expect any of us to do with it? I can tell you that you most certainly have errors, if that was what you're looking for.
0 Ragnar Homsar Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Are you sure you're using Sun/Oracle's JRE and not OpenJDK? I've never tried modded Minecraft on Linux but that might be the issue here.
0 phortheman Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 I had the same problem. Then I updated my JRE to 64bit and it worked! I would make sure that the Java Runtime Environment is set to your correct bit. http://download.cnet.com/Java-Runtime-Environment-JRE-64-Bit/3000-2378_4-75317067.html
