Tekkit Lite with Factions or Clans plugin?

Hello, I'm posting on behalf of my friend who host my server. We wanted factions or clans on the server but he says he can't get it to work. Even when I've seen other Tekkit servers with it, so what's the deal with this? He has Forge bukkit on the server if that matters.

forgebukkit is inferior because it does not support bukkit plugins

try using bukkitforge allows usage of bukkit plugin
