Best armour with jet pack?

Hi I searched around trying to find out what the best armour to wear along with a jet pack is.

Nano and quantum are pretty much pointless while wearing a jet pack unless I'm missing something so is diamond armour best?

I just spawned in some quantum armour to try it without the body and in terms of defence (shields) it was exactly the same as diamond.

P.s. I don't really want to use a flying ring because of the random fuel consumption.

Umm, quantum is the best. Honestly, you just need to master switching chestpieces quickly.
