Removing Mystcraft from an already generated world

I want to remove Mystcraft after it's been causing some lag, will this cause issues from my already generated world?

You won't be able to access your mystcraft ages or use any portals.

No, it shouldn't cause any issues, just make sure to remove any mystcraft stuff from chests and any books on the ground (entities). All the blocks just get deleted by forge. Although, maybe try fixing the lag before just drastically removing the mod? Back up your world, just in case!

We've discovered that it's whenever anyone enters an age that there's lag, my users all agree that removing it would be best. Thanks for the help fellas!
