Tekkit Multiplayer won't load: BAD LOGIN?

I try to login into a tekkit server and everything is up to date and all that crap and it says that i can join the server because it shows 3 green bars and how many players are on. But when i click join server it loads a little then says bad login. It also says do i want to run in offline mode because it can't connect to minecraft.net even though i play multiplayer all the time on normal minecraft. PLEASE HELP

"Bad Login" usually means that someone else is on your account at the same time playing minecraft. I suggest changing your password.

I'm not so sure that's true. I've had bad login before, and I just needed to reboot either my client or the server(it varies). But if you can't connect to Minecraft.net, it's possible you just have connection problems.

if this still doesn't work go to kittenwar.com download the new minecraft launcher if you don't have an account register then switch versions & play 1.2.5 release with your friends & if they don't have it show them the directions that I told you about!

Go to server.properties and where is says

OnlineMode=true

Change that to

OnlineMode=false

It tells the server not to communicate with Minecraft.net, Your friends can still join despite the server not being "Online". Also people with pirated copies (Not supporting) can join the game.
