Tekkit Launcher closing on Mojang screen

Hello

My friend, whose name i wont disclose has been trying to log into the mod pack tekkit(3.1.2), but when he gets to the Mojang screen, it just closes the window. So i have wanted to see this for myself and when we did Share screens on skype it worked! So we thought it was ok but when we stopped sharing screens it stopped working again. We tested this on and off about 7 times and it would only run if we share screens! We Cleared cache, redownloaded techniclaucher/cleared %appdata% and lowered the allocated memory for it. None worked except the temporary skype call fix?

I've been having a similar problem, though I never tried a share screen.
