dennis embregts Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 hey i already have a server but i want my friend to be able to turn on the server when he wants to while i don't have my pc on (where the server is running ''not 24/7'') and if i want to i can turn it on so all by all the question what do i have to do to let some one else get on my server from his computer with out my computer (so hosting him self) and still the same server over and over again thanks.. Niavmai Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Uh, you could run a program (like Teamviewer) that will allow him access onto your computer, but keep in mind that gives him access to EVERYTHING on your computer. Automatic cloud syncing is absolutely not a good idea, because every single tiny change made to the files would update the whole thing, and completely kill your bandwidth. You could also rent a small low powered server, if it's only for two people. You could get one fairly cheap, but it still costs money. Quote
