erron_eous
I have been experimenting with manipulators and conveyer belts and I can't seem to figure out how to pull items from an enrichment chamber with a manipulator. I troubleshot everything I could think of(i.e. put manipulator on every side of enrichment chamber, powered from every direction, pretty much the usual troubleshooting process). Is anyone else having this problem? or even better, does anyone have a solution?
nickpeq
I can at least confirm this.
LyteWing
I have learned two things about manipulators, they have to be on top of the inventory you want them to pull from (and I think maybe they can be on the bottom...not sure), and to make them actually pull an item you have to pulse them with e redstone signal. So unless they just don't work with the chambers all you should have to do is slap one on top of the chamber and set up some sort of redstone pulse. That redstone part is the dealbreaker for me. I mean you already have have to power the things, why do I have to pulse it with redstone? Anyway, I hope this helps you.
erron_eous
yeah, I had already tried on the top and i couldn't get anything to happen. also with regards to the redstone pulse, i set up the logic for a timer the long way(i.e. not an awesome RP timer) and it didn't seem to affect it. Its not really needed until you get the whole process to work. So i started debugging by just throwing a lever every time I set up a new position because it was faster. Anyway, I'm not sure if I tried the bottom, ill do that and update the thread.
WaterWorksGuy
If your talking about the Centrifuge I experienced a similar problem. Though considering how young this Pack is I'm happy with the Dev's speedy updates. There's alot of promise here. I hope they keep up the work and keep squashing those bugs. erron_eous
So I checked and I can verify that the manipulator won't pull from the enrichment chamber from any of the six sides. Also on a side note, the enrichment chamber isn't smelting ores at the moment. Could there be a new bug from the last update? can anyone confirm this so we can add it to the bug report? erron_eous
So I checked manipulators with the crusher(because the crusher is also from mekanim) and I have the same problem. I am guessing that the assembly line mod is not working completely with mekanism, and possibly other mods). I am going to agree with WaterWorksGuy and say that this is because they haven't ironed out all mods playing nice together, and is most likely being worked on. I also noticed that the crusher is working(as far as actually crushing things), so I would still like confirmation on the enrichment chamber not dusting ores at the moment. erron_eous
nevermind. I was trying to turn ingots into dust. the enrichment chamber only works with ores.
MechanizedIT
I was having the same issue, I tested in creative mode and found that if you place the manipulator on the left side it will pull the dust out of the enrichment chamber.
