Chunk scanner/fixer for Tekkit Classic 3.1.2/1.2.5?

Could some kind soul point me in the direction of a scanner and/or fixer for corrupted chunks? The server is having lag problems, and a corrupted chunk is our #1 suspect after fixing just about everything we could think of. I tried googling it myself, but couldn't find many answers (It may just be that I'm inept at Google).

i've heard about chunkster but i see that is now discontinued, perhaps there is a 1.2.5 version http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/admin-chunkster.8186/

there may be alternatives though
