no cheat mode/recipy mode

when i open my inventory i dont get the items on the right side can switch from cheat to recipy and stuff but dont get too see it.

Have this problem since clean install windows 8

I dont fully understand the problem, try this;

In game hit the "esc" button and press "o".

this toggles the display for NEI (the items on the right side)
