Hello

I've been hosting a small Tekkit Lite server on version 0.5.5 for a couple of friends (max about 10 but on average there where about 4 - 5 people online) and everything was running great until about last week when the server was using about 20% of it's CPU horsepower. It didn't mater if there where 4 people online or no one, it would run around 20% with a few peaks at about 25%

The Server I use is an HP laptop with an Intel Core i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1,6Ghz and 8Gb of ram

the OS is Windows Server 2008 R2 Standaard.

I've tried a couple of things like removing all the quarries (to prevent chunks from being loaded) removed the nether and the end, upgraded to 0.5.8.1 (today) but the best result I got was running at 0 - 1 % when there is no one connected and running at 15%+- when there is 1 player connected, but then it is un playable because of all the block lag.

This is the server log for when I start the server.

the server used to run a Dynmap and sbackup mod but I haven't installed these yet on version 0.5.8.1

I would apreciate any advice and please let me know if you need some additional information.

Thank you

This looks like a vanilla server log to me but I haven't run 0.5.8

That being said, assuming this log is being dumped same format as the ones I get I'd be worried

That was the only information I found in the server logs but there where other stuff being loaded on the CMD, I found those in the forgemodloader-server log file

this is the file (to big to copy/paste it into a comment)

http://speedy.sh/BpEwz/ForgeModLoader-server-0.log

the only thing that I can find that look weird is at the end

2013-02-13 00:49:24 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] Detected leaking worlds in memory. There are 2 worlds that appear to be persisting. A mod is likely caching the world incorrectly

2013-02-13 00:49:24 [sEVERE] [ForgeModLoader] The world 249620e7 (world) has leaked.

but a quick google search tells me that this used to be filtered out in the previous version of Forge and that it's nothing to worry about.

i get the world has leaked message but it is only after i return from a mystcraft age. returning from a different age results in the addition of a world to the list.

ex.

//went to age 7

I had 30 myst worlds in my server save file. upon a full reset (server and client), with the 30th myst world already generated, my framerate dropped to 5.

I stopping the server and delete the ages i could not return to. This stopped the momentary freeze I had every second or so before the reset and the framerate drop after.

running latest version of tekkit lite:

minecraft 1.4.7

mcp v7.26a

fml v4.7.22.539

forge 6.6.0.517
