Steve's carts help

I made a cart with an advanced hull, it had color add-on, internal storage,a shield, a coal engine, and an advance controller.

But when I try to drive it only inches along, why?

Ok I found the awnser, you have to raise your speed by pressing your jump key.

However I have a advance controller installed, but when I hold down left or right while passing a junction it dose not turn me.

Dose anyone know why?

You might be happier with a more knowledgable reply, but I'll attempt to assist. I believe they can only junction on a special kind of Steve's Carts rails?

I'd suggest investigating the available rails if you haven't yet. I'd be more help if I was home to do the guesswork for you but alas, work.

Thanks, yes I was using rail-craft junctions not the Steve's carts one.
