Robert Wellman Posted February 27, 2013 Posted February 27, 2013 Okay so I was having the same issue..a bunch of mods I had weren't up to date and it would not let me Join a couple of the Recommended Servers..So start up the Technic Launcher and next to where you type your password theres an (Options) and you have to do three things..I did three things and It worked so thats what im gonna tell you to do....click on the third little thing that says Manual Build mods thingy...Click on (clear cache) and then there is a drop down menu and you will currently be on one that has a Rec next to it choose the one at the very top thats the Lat.....just means Latest because when you first Download Voltz it puts you on the Recommended mods but you have to put it on the latest ones then. Now when you try and join any of the Recommended servers there are no problems.... I was looking for an answer like this and it took me a while and one person only put up part of the answer and I figured out the rest....anyhow post your thank you notes if this worked Quote

Zacariah95 Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I tried this and it still doesnt update enough for the mulitplayer servers. For example, 1.0.13|1.4.7|Latest is what I am picking (also the top of the pull down tab if that helps) and my ICBM mod, for example, is only updated to 1.0.4 instead of the most recent 1.0.5 that the multiplayer servers are telling me I need. Maxis010 Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 ...the multiplayer servers are telling me I need. That can be disabled via the server configs, it's the bleeding edge alert Quote
wildjack3 Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 This still doesn't work for me.... I'm getting really frustrated with all this. I also tried to download Feed the Beast, and it was nothing but one big headache. Quote
Maxis010 Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 wait what? Multiplayer servers auto check for latest versions of the mods installed from the authors Most of those checks can be disabled so you don't get spammed with mod update messages The only other option is to make a volts pack with all the latest mods installed all the time and have the server do the same Quote
