No sound in any of the modpacks

Operating System: Windows 7 x64

Java Version: Version 7 Update 15

Antivirus Program: AVG

Description of Problem:

When I played tekkit lite for a little bit, I had no sound, nothing worked. My buddy has the same problem now with Voltz. When I played tekkit classic shortly after that, I got no sound on that as well. I tried a load of stuff: Deleting Resources, deleting the whole tekkit directory and I deleted the whole techniclauncher directory, F3+s. Nothing worked.

Same problem as well. Just being here bumping this post instead of creating a new one.

EDIT: Randomly enough; now it works.. Didn't do anything special except move the launcher out of the downloads folder.

That happens sometimes, its either still downloading/loading minecraft/your world, or minecraft simply doesn't have enough RAM. (I think, I could be totally wrong. )

I had the same problem with tekkit and after a long time of research and experimenting I found out that you have to downgrade your Lightweight Java Game Library from 2.8.5 to 2.8.4. After that it just worked fine.

The Resources folder downloads sounds one by one as you play.

If you play and Vanilla sounds are not working, but Technic sounds are, then this is your problem, and if you keep playing they will eventually be all downloaded and should work normally if you restart the game from the launcher.

If your resources folder is full but you get no sounds at all, from either Vanilla or Technic, then I don't know what to tell you.
