molestedhotdog Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 trying to set up a server and its all well and good until i actually try and go in to it and a message appears saying "forge modloader has found ID mismatches" even though i have downloaded all the updates. dont know what to do, please help
Lethosos Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 If it's a custom modpack of your own, you'll have to adjust the IDs through editing the configuration files within the appropriate folder. Forge should have told you which IDs conflict, so cleaning that up should be easy. Just make sure you distribute the same configs with the modpack (or at least to anyone who wants to join.) Make sure you also run your client with those configuration files, too!
molestedhotdog Posted March 16, 2013 Author Posted March 16, 2013 im using voltz, i havent bothered with custom modpacks atm just messing around on here first! it does tell me that i have a few ids to change and it does tell me which ones but i really dont know how i would change them!!
alekthefirst Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 ok, so it requires a bit of general knowledge about voltz. can you post the error code or something?
