Blocks won't update - help?

So for whatever reason, on Tekkit Lite (and ONLY Tekkit Lite), whenever I do something such as farm sugar cane, the blocks won't update. This wouldn't be a problem if it didn't affect water and lava.

Look, I don't know if i can be a ton of help but I had this problem once, If your playing in LAN/singleplayer it happens, I made a tekkit lite server with the server.jar and just made it a local server and joined and everything worked perfectly. The blocks don't update for me either on singleplayer/singleplayer LAN

Yea i get this too, but i think its a client side issue for me. My computer refuses to do block updates for anything. I am perfectly fine to play on multiplayer though. not sure whats wrong...
