3DFLetch Posted March 24, 2013 Share Posted March 24, 2013 HI all, i have downloaded and installed tekkit launcher and minecraft separately. When i try to run either i can run the game and create a new world (or load an existing one) but after less than a minute the framerate drops to the point where the game is effectively frozen. the menue take several seconds to come up and often just crashes out. I am running the latest version of java on a 3.6GHz, 32GB ram, 680m 4GB gfx win 7 setup. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

3DFLetch Posted March 24, 2013 Author Share Posted March 24, 2013 Thanks for the reply zeus *chuckles* , advice from the god of gods himself. I tried the delete route to no avail. I then scrubbed and reinstalled java 64 bit and that seemed to work, i think it was corrupted somehow so minecraft went back to using the 32 bit version which can't handle it.
