  1. You can add it yourself. Just go into the TreeCapitator config in your server folder.
  2. I found an issue with logistics pipes. I had a logistics power junction, with a basic logistics pipe connected out one side, connected to a copper wire coming out of a fusion reactor when the server experienced a severe crash. I don't have the log, and I will attempt to recreate the crash to get one. It is important to note I had to mcedit out the logistics pipe and junction to be able to log into the server once again. As a side-note, I would never have attempted that, however there is a serious lack of conversion modding between universal electricity, and buildcraft power.
  3. I was wondering where you post big dig bugs... There aren't any forums specifically for it, however there is for all the other modpacks. Unless we post the bugs here?
  4. Any plugin which has permissions should work with groupmanager.
  5. http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/technic-launcher-bugs-problems.10/ But be sure to read this: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/common-problems-and-solutions.10851/
  6. Have you right-clicked the radar and toggled the button that says something along the lines of "Output on all sides." Otherwise, it will only output on the opposite side from where the missile is coming in from.
  7. Which permissions system are you using?
  8. Don't use PermissionsEX. It is really incompatible with modpacks for some odd reason. I use Groupmanager instead. Works like a charm, the ingame commands actually make sense, and its very trustworthy and doesn't break things. http://wiki.ess3.net/wiki/Group_Managerhttp://wiki.ess3.net/wiki/Group_Manager
  9. Maybe make it nuke sized, and not 200 blocks of radiation, but include fire n stuff, so its sort of like a nuke and a thermobarrak missile squished together.
  10. How would this be different from, say a Nuclear Missile?
  11. They are two different plugins, therefore two different setups. You cannot copy from PEX and paste into groupmanager. The reason you state isn't the problem of your permissions is in fact the problem. You will need to rewrite the Groupmanager file following their permission rules.
  12. That is true. It really is never ending isn't it. Hopefully some of them see an opportunity and become more than "A company EA owned".
  13. WELP! There goes EA. Let's all go celebrate the passing of EA!
  14. Well have fun attempting to grief someone's server! You should try looking in the whale box. There might be some there for you to look at.
  15. PermissionsEX doesn't work with bukkitforge. Use group manager and make sure all indents are spaces and indented properly
  16. Also, Voltz has the ForceField mod, you could also use the mods to protect spawn.
  17. Do you need help? Or are you merely creating a thread that likley no one will use to post their problems about port forwarding? All of the answers are available by a simple google search...
  18. On our server, we've actually made our own mod pack with About two dozen mods adding various elements to gameplay. I know that we do have mystcraft, with a mod that adds intraworld jumps, and we have made a teleport into the nether. It's a little tricky to get the hang of, but if you read the wikis, you should be fine. Also as a sidenote, a vanilla server is minecraft server without any additions. It is minecraft at its basic form. If you need any more help, I'm available on Skype and I also have a team speak server if that's more your thing.
  19. Glad to know it worked out. Just for future reference, It would be better to post this in the bugs section. You would have gotten more help
  20. To elaborate on this, PermissionsEX does not work whatsoever with tekkit, or tekkit lite. A better option, would be to download the GroupManager plugin from Essentials(google this if you don't already know what it is) and use that instead. For world protection, don't use ModifyWorld, but use Worldguard. Both are better options than the PermissionsEX suite with Tekkit.
  21. First off I applaud you for jumping right into administrating a server. Especially jumping right into Tekkit! It can be daunting at times. Now to answer some questions. 1) At the moment, you probably don't need to remove any mods. If it's just you and your son, you likely won't run into any problems, as the settings are tweaks mostly already. If you start getting players abusing different mods, then I would advise you to change the settings of the mods to remove the items the players are abusing. 2) If you want a world where only you and your son can explore and have fun on, search Multicraft. It allows multiple worlds relatively easy, but you really want to search Google or Youtube for some tutorials on setting it up. 3) Define leaking? It would be great if you tell us the actual error you're getting. I'm not sure what this would be. 4) This is a benign, yet annoying error that comes up even on the most powerful of servers. Just ignore it, and if it bothers you too much, go into the bukkit.yml file. Theres a line that says something to the fact of "warn-on-overload" and set that to false. It should get rid of all those pesky errors. 5) Is the computer that you use to run the server connected to the internet wirelessly? Or is it a wired connection? If it is wireless, I recommend you connect it to the internet via Ethernet cable. It is possible your router can't keep up with the amount of data being transferred from client to server. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask them.
  22. Worldguard helps depending on which type of server you run.
  23. Google Port Forwarding for many tutorials on how to do it. Some info you need beforehand, is your router login information. If you haven't changed it, or don't know what it is, check the bottom of your router. Then you need to find your default gateway. Not sure how to do this on a a mac, but if you use Google it shouldn't be too hard. then, in your browser, type in the ip from the default gateway that you got earlier, and follow the instructions you can find here. If this doesn't work, then try lowering your router firewall to allow incoming data. If this doesn't work, try giving them your external IP address rather than your internal ip address. If this doesn't work, and you have two routers, Google port forwarding with two routers or just use one, which makes infinitely more sense.
