Limit to how far away a frame motor will push frames??

I'm aware of the limit for total number of frames pushed, but do the frame motors have any other limits? I'm having an issue with this elevator I built. It goes a little over 60 blocks up, and the motors move it up and down fine until it get about 2/3 of the way down. Then it won't lower any further, although I can go back up and down again to that point over and over again. There are no obstructions that I've been able to find. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, new to the forum.

No, I have had frame airships travel 10k+ blocks in a single direction. Check to make sure the motors have power, they might simply be running out before they get down. Check the redstone signal, make sure there isn't a gap. Are you using a pole or something similar to anchor everything? If so, make sure it isn't running into anything. If all three of those are clear, then you do have an obstruction.

there are none imho, usually its out of power, or some block stuck, i had a movable quarry mined 7 km of block in a row, so there are no limits there

I think he is asking if it can push a giant pole, I believe the limit on that is like 200 meters or so. It may not exist though.
