Tekkit Lite, CustomOreGen?

I am using Tekkit Lite Server and simply do not have enough Ore. I was wondering if I could create a world on the client side using the CustomOreGen mod and then upload this seed to the server. If not, any other ideas for creating more ore than normal? Thanks in advance.

you can change some of the generator settings on the related config, so you get more copper for example, the configs can be found in the config directory of your tekkit server, just make shure to back them up first
