Madlark Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 Hi! Maybe I'm just blind, but I couldn't find a solution anywhere on this forum. I'm running a small Tekkit Lite server on Fluctis, and every time I try to enter a new age using a Descriptive book from Mystcraft, I get an error message reading "java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out". The server takes a while to realize I'm not logged in anymore, and afterwards I can connect again, sometimes even re-appearing in the age I intended to enter. Any ideas what might be causing this? I know Mystcraft is a memory hog and can be hard on servers, perhaps I should request more RAM from the host? Thanks in advance! UPD: Actually, the same thing happens with Dimensional doors. More often than not I get kicked out with the same error message, or fall through the world indefinitely on arrival back to the Overworld. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The server lags quite a lot when someone goes to an Age, but that's to be expected. No idea what caused this in the first place, I never even made any adjustments.
