Anderp Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I had tried big dig after my friend told me about it, but I soon found out that it didn't work for me. I run on windows, and the problem is that if I play for an extended period of time, the game will freeze for a second or two. This starts slow, maybe happening once every 5 minutes, but then happens almost every 15 seconds! I would really appreciate if someone could help me with my situation.
Richs_Yard Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 What windows version, Launcher version, and Java version are you running?
Anderp Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 I am running windows 7, using Platform build 223 and java version 6 (build 1.6.0_31-b05)
Richs_Yard Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I thought that the launcher was 222... Still, Java? AV?
Anderp Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 I'll try that, I'll be back eventually with good or bad feedback
Anderp Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 Thanks for the help, The problem was fixed for the few minutes I was testing it, If anything bad happens, I'll increase the RAM again before reporting it :)
Richs_Yard Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 I helped someone? That felt... strange... i'll stick with being an ass to people.
Calvariae Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 I used to have a problem like this a while ago. I fixed it by installing 64-bit java - as simply increasing the ram usage via the launcher didn't help. Though, if everything is working for you now don't worry about it.
