DiabolusIgnis Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Hello, I've recently tried to build hydrogen generators. Problem is, they use up more power than I manage to get from one. Is it supposed to be like this, or am I doing something wrong? Quote
DiabolusIgnis Posted April 28, 2013 Author Posted April 28, 2013 I mean, I've powered it with a battery to begin with, and now have it running without any battery boxes. It can't even run itself. Quote
Richs_Yard Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Your doing it wrong! But im trying the best I can! NO EXCUSES! Quote
lukeb28 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Havent done it but looks easy http://voltzwiki.com/wiki/Hydrogen_Generator Quote
DiabolusIgnis Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 Havent done it but looks easy http://voltzwiki.com/wiki/Hydrogen_Generator Did it like that, no dice. Quote
lukeb28 Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Posting a screen shot of your current set up might be able to help us in finding your problem. Quote
alekthefirst Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 you need two: one for powering the 2 pumps and the 2 separators, and one as the putput(mine uses 4 gens, two for output and 2 for the pumps and seps; it has 25 KW output at 240 volts) Quote
DiabolusIgnis Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 Screenshots: First is from the beginning. I set up 669KJ of power into the battery box to power up the thing for starters. Second is when I try to get it running. Eventually the pump will stop, the electrolytic separator is charged (no water, though) and the battery box is empty. Quote
TheBytemaster Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 I do know that often-times in the past with voltz I have run into trouble with machines that require a kickstart eating the maximum amount of power constantly weather they need it or not. Try cutting the link between the output and input of power and using batteries to move energy manually. Quote
