Power Converters- Water Strainer?

I see all of the other Power Converter items on my SMP server, however I don't have a recipe for the water strainer anymore?

I am updated and using the latest builds, has the water strainer been removed from Power Converters, or do I have an error some where?

Water Strainer hasn't existed in power converters since classic. What you want these days is the liquirouter in MineFactory Reloaded. Think of it like an RP2 sorter for liquids.

Will this work with making a more efficient water mill energy source like you could with the water strainer?

No, its only purpose is to separate one type of liquid from another.

There is a block that will filter water (any any other liquid). It took me forever to find it, and off the top of my head I can't remember what it was. But, it was something like Liquid Controller. Or something.

It's simple to use. You put a bucket of the liquid you want to filter in color inventory slots. Works like a charm. We use it in our oil input to filter out water into a void pipe.
