need help with transport pipe

i have built sorting machines and used filters with the trans port pies before but here recently my filters are just spitting out blocks when i apply power ( yes they are facing the right way and such ) . It acts as if my pipes aren't even there but i can clearly see they are connected also i cant build my sorting machine because i cant paint any of my pipes. i have tried to delete and start over but that does not work either. also where did technic go in the launcher?

Maybe posting a screenshot of what you have will help us deduce what the problem is.

Transport pipes are from Buildcraft, while Filters are from Redpower. They're different mods and don't work together. If you want to use Filters you need Tubes, and if you want to use transport pipes you need wooden pipes and engines.
