I've recently been playing regular old minecraft and a friend recommended trying mods. Of course like everything I try to do on a computer, I failed to even work it. Quoted for usefulness, and reference. The Common Problems and Solutions thread would have told you, most likely, why your download is failing. 90%+ of the time, it's an antivirus or firewall that doesn't like it. I am running Avast and checked my firewall settings to allow this to work I tried turning off my firewall and it made no difference. This was working on 5/2/2013 but stopped working yesterday. Tried Booting Up Technic Launcher. Selected Tekkit Lite. Began Downloading. Reached 20-25% Then Failed On Multiple Attempts.
