New Tekkit update What will happen to servers?

Will this new update they are rolling out affect current Tekkit classic servers? I just spent weeks getting mine to perfection and now I hear about this. Any info would be helpful!

Seeing as this is considered tekkit and the other is tekkit classic i am guessing it will be seperate. Not 100% sure though.

Nope! No change at all. This new Tekkit is pushed for what is essentially Tekkit Lite, and won't disrupt any other servers. (Especially since you don't have to update your current build just to play on the older servers.)
