Installed Optifine_1.5.1_HD_D1 by A) renaming and extracting modpack.zip pasting in Optifine files C) selecting all and selecting compress # items D) dragged archive.zip to bin and renamed modpack.jar E) deleted modpack and modpack.zip F) launched tekkit 2. Got an error report so restarted tekkit 3. Got the same erorr report 4. Uninstalled Optifine... Launched perfectly ---- Minecraft Crash Report ---- // Shall we play a game? There are no spoilers in this forum. Why did you rename it? From what I know is you open the modpack.jar with an archiver program and paste all the files from your optifine folder into it. Save the file and launch. I have no idea what you're doing with the renaming and deleting. You could also do the same with the minecraft.jar.

Flextt Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 At least on Win 7 I can install Optifine_1.5.1_HD_U_D1 (I am almost positive that it only works with Ultra versions rather than Standard. Light isnt even Forge compatible.) without problems. I also cannot see any mistake with your process. Is this maybe Mac specific?
