CanVox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 So what are you actually experiencing in-game? The tps appears to be holding steady according to your logs, so what is actually happening?
sweden4 Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 Whats ACTUALY happening is that when my server gos more then 1 players. My speed drops. BIG. Local players are fine. Its when a external player join it eats all my speeds. This dose not happen in Classic, Lite OR Vanilla. I can have atleast 12 players without experiencing lagg, my computer can go for much more. And this is fro my own experience. This is just WIERD from my point of view
CanVox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 What does that mean, "speeds" drop. What are you actually experiencing.
Bloodhannes Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 From what I experienced (I was online for like 5 min) from the server it's speed is always low but sometimes I get a little speed peak.
sweden4 Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 Whats happening, me and jespifer is playin (At this point its one local player online and one external). Steve joins the server. There is now 2 external players online and one local. Jespifer says chat has delay, big delay. like 10 seconds or more. 1 more player joins. 1 more. Everything just go ""!#¤%"¤%/&¤%& so when nothing is wrong with my performence i go check here: http://bredbandskollen.se It tells me my freakin speed is down at 0.50 or somtimes 3.xx. Well for a moment ago i had around 18. This numbers is in "mbit/s"
CanVox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 If all three of you go to different dimensions, do the problems continue?
sweden4 Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 What ive heard it get alot worse. Jespifer entered a dimensional door when the server stopped responding at all.
CanVox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Well the only thing that occurs to me to try is to back up your world, then start removing mods until you can identify a culprit. I would start with forgebukkit again, and then try galacticraft.
CanVox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Keep going. Or try removing all mods, if it keeps going, then it's just minecraft and I can't help you.
sweden4 Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 Tried removing a mod what happened then was a crash "missing mod" blabla
CanVox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Yes, removing a core mod without removing the mods that depend on it is a bad idea. Remove thermal expansion and omni wrench if you're going to do that.
CanVox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I also recommended that you start with galacticraft and bukktiforge, but both mods are still present.
CanVox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Another thing I'd like to try- what if the other 2 players were increasing bandwidth usage by not being upgraded themselves?
sweden4 Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 Oh yes, now its enough with one player "bloodhannes"
CanVox Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 Get bloodhannes to upgrade his java and then see if it's still enough afterward
