Tekkit won't launch

So recently my friend updated his server to tekkit full. Before we were playing on tekkit light which my computer ran just fine. However upon attempting to launch tekkit I was returned with this error message in minecraft itself

We tried to troubleshoot this by increasing the ram of my computer, reinstalling tekkit, reinstalling technic launcher, none of it worked. Even more so I got my friend to launch it with the exact same ram usage as my computer and it launched. I'm wondering if anyone knows something to fix this or what is causing it?

Hi, this issue is caused when Forge downloads the file scala-library.jar but is unable to write it to disk. This is usually caused by an overeager virus scanner. Temporarily disable it the first time you run tekkit and you should be good to go.
