Launcher Version: Build 240

Operating System: Windows 8 64-Bit

Java Version: Version 7, build 21

Antivirus Program: avast! Antivirus Basic

Description of Problem:

I updated to windows 8 because I switched to a newer PC, and when I tried launching any modpack installed in the Techniclauncher, all I got was a white screenwhere Minecraft worked fine. I tried reinstalling Java and my Graphics card drivers were up to date, but the problem still persisted. I tried to launch several modpacks a few updates later, but I still got nothing. But Forge loaded. So I reinstalled the launcher, I also reinstalled Minecraft, but nothing worked. I tried several times this update, but it still doesnt work. I really want to play this game, and I wonder why this problem cant be solved. I see many peole with this problem.

Clear the Cache files and try. Also if the launcher loads up, and lets you launch a pack, it could be a config issue with the pack.

How can I do that?
