End of Stream Error!

Hello, I am building a new pack for my private server for 1.5.2, all the mods etc. are working fine on single player and I have no issues on Single player, but when I load up the server (All with the same mods etc. and working fine)

I get this error randomly when playing on the server.

- I dont know what mod is causing this as it does not say. - Minecraft does not crash just says "End oF Stream" and this error is in the ForgeModLoader Log.

Is this when you try and connect to the server or when you just booting up your server? Also, make sure you didn't accedentialy put a client side only mod in your server like invtory tweaks and nei.

It happens when I am playing on the server, it random of when it happens.

Ahh, it might be due to NEI in the core mods folder on server, i removed it and testing now.

What are you doing when it crashes? Are you approching ore gen maybe? Trying to craft a mod item? Approching a mod item? If you know if its any of these, try removing the offending mod and see if that changes anything.

Edit: Its fine for NEI to be in the core mods for a server, it only matters if its in the mods folder.

Probibly a mod gen then. Try removing/readding mods untill the issue stops then re-add it and see if that causes the error. Then you will know whats causing the issues.

I removed NEI from the core folder on server and I still get the same Issue, all the other mods are fine.

Looks like it might be plugin related. Try the same method but with the plugins insted of the mods.

The current plugins which I have installed are:

• WorldBorder (May be causing)

Weird, I removed all of the plugins and still getting the same.

Does it happen unmodded? Just make a save of your world first and restore it once this is fixed.

I'am loading a new world every time on the server to see and the same issue still happens, now it dont report the end of stream on client but on server it just says "End of Stream"

Try running vanilla and see what happens.

Yeah, it runs fine and all other packs. I think as this is 1.5.2 it all buggy but there should be a better crash of why it happening.

Edit: Also I tried joining and I was fine until I started to move around, even tho chunks were loading when I was standing still.

At this point I'm guessing it's your server.jar. try getting a new one and see if it helps.

Hi, I got a new server.jar - Iam using "http://ci.md-5.net/job/MCPC-Plus/" as it supports Bukkit plugins, and Ive got the latest version and still the same - It starting to annoy me now lol
