Few Questions

So from what ive read tons of problems with the update, i have similar problems.

1: when i try to either play on current version or 1.2.2 i get this error

any help on how i could fix that would be appreciated.

2: is there anyway for me to transfer over alteast the basic structures of my base/nether over to the new version (as far as i can tell everything i had is in the new modpack other than a handful of ores i dont care about and the old enchantment stuff)

1) Please post the actual error report. The image you posted tells where to find it.

2) Have you tried backing up your old saves and just trying to open them in BigDig 1.3.4?

2) Backed up everything but i get the same error no matter the version
