What are you missing?

I have fallen in love with this modpack as I'm far too lazy to do lots of mining. However I am completely failing to find any carrots whatsoever, I wonder if there was some sort of devastating war which killed off all the local Testificates, as the only village I've found so far after exploring hundreds and hundreds of blocks has been a sky village, where apparently they don't grow carrots. And I really want carrots as I have evil plans to build automatic cow, sheep, chicken and pig slaughtering farms.

Also I had no end of trouble scrapping enough AE Quartz together to build my AE network, but since that's all set up now I don't really mind anymore.

So I was just wondering what other people are struggling (by Big Dig standards) to find and how are you getting round them?

Try and find a village they tend to have carrots and potatoes in there farms.

Or find a zombie spawner.

I found carrots quite easily to be honest. About 1000 away from spawn in a vanilla village.

To be honest, Im not struggling to find anything I need.
