Problem with loading Tekkit Light

Sorry I'm posting this in a wrong forum but I'm new and I'm new at Tekkit (all) so sorry.

I can't play Tekkit Lite because of it says "100% No Updates are found" and it stays that

forever. Do I have to wait for couple of minutes or hours?

what are your system specifications?

ram, os, java version if known, graphics card, a dxdiag report might be of use also. look up how to do a dxdiag on your system and post the report please :-)

I already know the problem. My brother installed optifine in the bin folder of .technic. Thanks for helping tough. :)
