CPU overload because of loads of unwanted processes.

Aldenar

Question

Launcher Version: 249

Operating System: Windows 7 SP 1

Java Version: 1.7.0

Antivirus Program: Avast free antivirus

Description of Problem:

Anytime I try to download a modpack, that contain an unzipped mod [eg.: ComputerCraft], I get generaly spammed by unwanted "attrib.exe" proceses, which overloads my CPU to the poin where I can barely move with my mouse. To stop this, I had to manually restart my computer.

If you find a pack like that, don't try to download it anymore, and if you are feeling nice put a message in discussion about how the pack has been poorly assembled and point them to the forums

Any unpacked mod won't work as Forge will ignore the files because they aren't .zip or .jar (I found that out when I renamed mods .disabled when I was troubleshooting)

I have the same problem when downloading a pack with matmos but how can you put the sounds in the resources folder inside a zip?
