Launcher vanished

So, opening up my technic folder, where everything is supposed to be, I find that the launcher is missing. I did not delete it, or make any recent changes; last time I played was 2 days ago, and everything was fine.

I've no idea what else I can say. The latest log is empty, the one before that showed nothing unusual.

The folder itself (C:\Games\Technic) contains the following subfolders:

assets

cache

logs

tekkitlite

tekkitmain

vanilla

And it contains the file "lastlogin". Usually, the launcher is between the subfolder "vanilla", and the file "lastlogin". But it's not there.

If I remember correctly, this has happened before. It resulted in me re-downloading the launcher, but I was wondering if there are any other options. Also would be good to know if this has happened to anyone else, so that I can find out what I did, so that I can avoid this happening in the future.
