Issue while updating

Launcher/pack Version:Technic Launcher 0.5.4.9 - (Tekkit)

Operating System: 64 bit Windows 7

Version of Java: 64 bit

Description of Problem:

Cannot install the program. While loading it shows minecraft.jar?user=myusername&ticket=deprecated&ticket=1

Error Messages: Update Failed!

My anti-virus: Microsoft Security Essentials

i have had my AV disabled and there is an exception in my firewall for Technic. I have been using this program for a few weeks now with only a few crash issues, but after a crash today i have been getting this.

I have completely deleted the launcher, folder, and got a fresh minecraft.jar. I am still getting this msg. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TY

Ok, I found the log finnaly, in log folder in technic's main folder(must've been temporarily blinded). Looking at the log it looks like the version of minecraft i have is not correct, however I have done a force update on minecraft several times while trying to work out this bug.

What folder does the launcher pull the minecraft.jar from? I would like to try to manually place the .jar in that folder.

hi, i found the minecraft.jar inside the TEMP folder. also i have being having the exact same problems and... 1# you cant manualy place a working minecraft.jar into this folder as it is a temp folder and 2# when i try to open the minecraft.jar from the temp folder it says that it is corrupted and i tried replacing it with no success.

if you find a fix to the problem please contact me.

as has been stated all over the place, minecraft's recent update has borked the launcher temporarily. just wait a bit for a patch and it'll be fine.
