poryy Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Minecraft only has 2 flowers right now. I am suggesting many more to make a full set of ??? and add more functionality to flowers. Also, it adds a botanist's table. BOTANIST'S TABLE: An item with a GUI with 3 slots. A flower can be placed in the top slot to extract it's seeds, or 2 sees can be placed in both to combine them. These seeds may be planted in tilled soil, where they grow into mature flowers. BASIC FLOWERS: Lazulus: A blue flower that drops Lazulus. If it is put in the botanist's table; it makes lazulus seeds. When smelted, it makes lapis lazuli. Razorweed: A rusty plant-metal hybrid with sharp thorns and stalks of rusty iron. It drops Razorweed. When put in a botanist's table; it makes razorweed seeds. When crafted by itself, it makes razorwire, which can be moved through, but does damage as it is walked through. Violet: A purple flower that drops Violet. When put in a botanist's table; it creates violet seeds. When smelted, it makes purple dye. Whiteleaf: A soft white flower that drops Whiteleaf. When put in a botanist's table; it creates whiteleaf seeds. When smelted, it makes bonemeal. Aquaria: A plant that looks like a flowering lily pad, it drops Aquaria. When put in a botanist's table; it makes aquaria seeds. CROSSBREEDING TIER 1: Blackthorn: A flower with black petals and rose thorns. Combine a violet with whiteleaf to get this. When crafted by itself, it makes ink sacs. When put in a botanist's table; it makes inky seeds. Dustpetal: A flower with a brilliant red crown. Combine lazulus with vanilla roses to get this. When crafted by itself, it makes redstone dust. When placed in a botanist's table; it makes dustpetal seeds. Creeperia: A flower with gray specks on it's stem and a green crown. Combine razorweed and aquaria to get this. When crafted by itself, it makes gunpowder. When placed in a botanist's table; it makes creeperia seeds. CROSSBREEDING TIER 2: Dragonscale: A plant made up of sharp pieces of bone. Combine razorweed and whiteleaf to get this. When smelted, it makes dragon scales, a source of 4 bonemeal each. However, when put in a botanist's table; this makes dragonscale seeds. Ironroot: A plant that contains a high iron content. Combine razorweed and lazulus to get this. Cook it to get a single iron ingot, or put it in a botanist's table to get ironroot seeds. Aurumflower: A plant with golden petals. It drops Aurumflower that can be smelted for a gold nugget, or but in the botanist's table to get aurumflower seeds. Gloomflower: A flower with dark purple leaves and splashes of black on it's crown. Combine lazulus and creeperia for this plant. It will drop gloomroot, and when cooked should make an ender pearl. NO SEEDS. Glowseed: A combination between dustpetal and vanilla "flower", it should emit soft light and drop glowstone dust. NO SEEDS. If you decide to make this mod, please make it forge compatible. Quote
Industrial Miner Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 So basically IC2-like breeding... Also, someone has already made a mod which adds flowers which you can grow using seeds (I presume). http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/402069-152forgesmppams-mods-june-14th-temperate-plants-mod/ Quote
