Supplied server files not compatible with current version of Tekkit.

Hello, I have a predicament that I hope is easily fixed and just down to my incompetence.

I have been trying to set up a Tekkit server, but I can't connect to it, being kicked and notified that the client is out of date, upon connecting.

The server I get each time I install using the supplied file is 1.5.2, while the Tekkit client is 1.5.1.

To install Tekkit I simply let the Technic launcher do its thing. The file I used for the server is the one supplied on the website (http://mirror.technicpack.net/Technic/servers/tekkitmain/Tekkit_Server_v1.0.6.zip), which I would assume to be congruous with the current version of Tekkit.

I appreciate any help you can offer, and I thank you in advance.

Strange, are you sure its the server that is 1.5.2 not the client ? if its the client be sure to check it is running the latest tekkit not tekkit lite also its running recommended not latest

Thanks for your response! I have checked for those things prior, however, and I'm entirely certain neither of the particular things you mentioned is the cause of my problem.

If your Tekkit client is only 1.5.1, then you aren't running the latest build. Throw out your tekkitmain directory, then launch TechnicLauncher, then press the gear on Tekkit on the left and change to manually select a build, then choose 1.1.5.

You might also want to make sure your server is using 1.1.5 as well and not one of the intermediary builds. 1.1.0-1.1.5 are all minecraft 1.5.2.
