Tekkit server launcher wont work. HELP

Hey guys, new to the forum so apologies if im in the wrong place here or this thread has already been made. After playing tekkit me and a friend decided we wanted to start a server to play with each other online. i downloaded the tekkit server files and when i hit the launch.bat file, it says at the top 'java' is not a recognised command, then under that says press any key to continue. when i press any key it just closes down the cmd program.

looked all over the internet and cant find anything so hopefully one of you guys could help!

Okay, the problem is, is that your java is not in the path. You need to set java as a path in order for it to work. Message me for any more problems.
