having trouble opening hexxit, gets stuck at mojang screen

it used to work, but not whenever i open hexxit( which is the only mod pack with this problem) it loads the mojang loading screen, then shows me this:

Forge Mod Loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation

You have mod sources that are duplicate within your system

Mod Id : File name

hexxitgear : HexxitGear-1.0-22...jar

Hexxitgear : HexxitGear-1.0-23..jar

got into the .technic/hexxit/mods folder. remove the HexxitGear-1.0.22.jar

You have 2 versions of the same mod? That sounds like an error. How they got there anyways?

deleting the hexxit gear-1.0.23.jar did not work for me what can i do to fix it.
