run out of memory

every time i play technic i can play for like 5 min and then it crashes/saving chunks and says minecraft has run out of memory. i already gave minecraft 1 gb not 1536mb (for some reasons it crashes after 10 sec if i do). is there a way to give mc 16 gb?? like in the first version of technic launcher??

no, there isn't. try dropping the memory down to 512mb, see how that works for you. contrary to what you might think, more memory will more than likely not help.
