Activating Texture Packs

Id like to play tekkit with a texture pack http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/559699-512x256x-128x64x-16-kop-texturepack-photo-realism/ (this one).

I have the pack in both the usual folder for minecraft packs as well as the tekkit texture pack folder, and it also shows up in the ingame selection, but other than a short load time, nothing happens when i select it.

What can i do?
