If supplied with a never ending supply of water (via aqueous accumulator), will a combustion engine ever blow up? can it run 24/7?

They're bound to blow up if you make one simple mistake when doing that.

I've read that their explosion chance is also related to how much work they are doing. I personally don't bother with them; I rather use Railcraft's boiler and industrial steam engines. Bank of them linked to a tesserect via energy conduits provides spare BC power for not only refining more oil, but also for driving my quarries.

I use a set of 4 accumulators, and they will keep even the largest boiler topped off.
