Hey,

Since a few weeks i have been running a Tekkit on my home computer. Everything worked fine until this morning when everyone sudenly got massive amounts of lag. Now, the weird thing is when i load up another map everything works fine without the lag. Has anyone else ever experienced this , and / or knows a solution to this?

probably some sort of quarry error, sometimes when you use a ton of quarries, they corrupt the chunk, break bedrock, and cause MASSIVE lag. I have seen it before on another server.

moving to the tekkit board, where this belongs.

also, you could have an item spill or something going on. if chunks with pipes get unloaded and a lot of items would normally flow through those pipes it tends to break and spill the items everywhere. after a while you get so many that it lags the crap out of everything. there's a worldedit command you can use to clear them, but off the top of my head I can't remember it and you have to be in the general vicinity of the spill for it to work.

Okay, i'll look for any spills but we only have 3 quarries on the server now and they are all turned off.

If a chunk would be corrupt , is there a way to fix this?
