Tekkit Server v1.0.6 Severe Lag and Connection Drops

Hey everyone,

I just started running a Tekkit on my machine for just a few friends and myself to play on. Obviously playing with Tekkit is fantastic, but I am having some issues.

The install and relevant specs are as follows:

Windows 8 Pro

Intel i7-3770k (4+ GHz)

16 GB 1866 MHz Ram

EVGA Nvidia GTX 660 Ti 2GB Graphics Card

Tekkit Server v1.0.6

Technic Launcher Build 253

Tekkit v1.0.6

Extra Mods:

Dynmap (v1.8 for Forge v7.7.1 (MC v1.5.1)) http://goo.gl/zpFQN

On the server machine, I connect via the localhost loopback. Other players (one thus far) connect via http using a hostname with DDNS service provided by No-ip.com.

We have only been running this since yesterday and here are some of the issues we are experiencing:

Severe ingame lag (Performing actions, then 20 seconds later, all changes undone and returned to prior location)

Entire Chunks Not Rendering (i.e. Huge black area on ground, not pathable, can see into cave levels through it.)

Connection Drops (IO Socket Exceptions, Details in log below)

EDIT: The errors regarding the 'Cant Keep up' are when I accidentally slept my computer with the server running.

Send me the text in your Server_launch.bat or .sh or whatever you called it .

Also, you have dynmap installed, that can severely lagg your server if you leave the map render on for to long. Try /dynmap cancelrender

and if that doesnt work, try launching the server on another world.

and are you running mcpc+? or basic forge or basic forge with bukkitforge?
