  1. What is plug'd? Plug'd is a platform that allows Staff/Players from different servers to collaborate. It is a place for Server Owners to share there servers, collaborate with other servers and share there experience. For players too be able to choose the servers they want to join and share there creations with a wider community. What Plug'd isn't (For server owners) Plug'd has the philosophy that if you choose to simply advertise your server and then leave you aren't welcome here. In fact if you do so you may be banned. Instead we ask that in return you help other owners and players who may be less experienced and need some help. We don't demand this and if your not able to help out for a given reason then that is fine but joining for 5 minutes to advertise your server and then leaving is not acceptable. :). Link: http://discord.gg/AwacrAG When joining the discord please make sure to read the rules before posting anything. They are there for a reason.
  2. So over the past 3 months a lot has happened... The server now has: - A massive server market - A whole array of new towns. - Partnerships with Hive365 (the lead gaming radio station in the UK) - An opportunity to form a 2nd 1.10.2/1.11 server We have also updated our gallery with a few new pictures to highlight some of these efforts. http://imgur.com/a/Za4R8
  3. Servers officially been open for about 3 weeks and we already have some pretty cool creations. If you want to check out any more pictures in the future please feel free to check out our gallery :). p.s. We have also now installed Fastcraft to the modpack which has significantly aided in reducing lag for our players.
  4. Select tekkit classic. Go into 'Modpack options' (in the technic launcher). Click 'open'. To open the location of your tekkit classic files Now go into 'logs' and paste your fml-latest.client log to http://pastebin.com. Then we can do something.

    Crashing

Ok. In the technic launcher navigate to 'modpack options'. Click 'open' to open your install folder. Go into 'logs' and post your fml-latest.client.log to http://pastebin.com Then we can do something. =3. Also. Because it's a server issue you may not be able to fix it yourself and may need to contact the server owner. Try running the modpack in singleplayer and see if you get the same error.
  6. Do you have the latest version of Java?
  7. Just spotted your problem after looking through it again. OpenBlocks{1.4.4} [OpenBlocks] (OpenBlocks-1.7.10-1.4.4-deobf.jar) Your running the deobf version. The proper version your looking for is here: https://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/228816-openblocks/2250321#
  8. Your missing files. This may be because the files didn't download correctly. Try re-installing the pack by clicking 'modpack options', 'reinstall pack'. If that dosen't work try turning off any firewalls you currently have on. These may be preventing you from downloading the correct files. If that dosen't work then their is another option but it's not ideal :P.

    Can't start

If you have any custom java launch options remove them and try again.
  10. Minefactory relies on the cofhcore libraries. Download them here: https://mods.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/cofhcore
  11. I think whats happened is you've downloaded the wrong version of the mod Openblocks, you have the .deof version of Openblocks or your missing a dependency. Check if you have Openmodslib, if you do then could you give me the version of Forge your modpack runs on and what version of Openblocks and Openmodslib you have. Also for further reference. Use pastebin... http://pastebin.com/
  12. The 2 mods suggested and accepted by our community are AE2 and Extrautilities, p.s. I would have just edited the thread but yet again upon re-editing and completing the captcha 3 times it still wouldn't update. I'll try again tomorrow :P. EDIT: Fixed.
  13. You could also look for DefenseTech (By AidanCbrady, the maker of Mekanism) as an alternative to ICBM,
  14. The server is currently running a unique 'Mod suggestion scheme' that many people may be interested in. Basically, you can suggest as many mods as you want to our modpack through the site http://uu.enjin.com and we will consider all the mods suggested that week and put them in a poll. The 2 mods with the most votes will (if possible) be added to the modpack. (Note that any mods that add world generation to the overworld, nether or end cannot be added or must have the world generation disabled to find other options).
  15. I might be wrong but the link to the dropbox file seems a bit weird. Are you sure you copied the 'direct' link and edited it? works for me and mine looks more like this: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/[link].zip?dl=1 Also make sure your modpack zip file is actually named 'modpack.zip'. (You probably already know this). EDIT: Just realised how long ago you posted this... xD.
  16. Please note: If possible ask if you have permission to run a technic launcher modpack through the standard minecraft launcher as some modpack authors may not want you to as it does effect the analytics gathered for the pack and certainly don't edit and re-distribute your instance of the pack to others if you don't have permission. Technics launcher is an easy and effective way of installing and updating modpacks. However, on a rare occasion that you're having trouble with the Technic launcher or you wish to install a client mod that doesn't disappear everytime you update the pack. (For e.g. Journeymap)... You can do the following depending on if you're able to launch/access the launcher. You can run and access the launcher but the launcher/minecraft lags - Open the Technic launcher. Click on your modpack and then click 'modpack options','open'. This should open the directory your modpack is saved. Copy and save the location of your modpack instance somewhere so you don't forget it. (Example directory. C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\[modpack name]) - Go into /bin/version.json. Your minecraft forge version will be displayed here. - Find your version of forge here: http://files.minecraftforge.net/ and install using the correct installer to your normal MC directory. (E.g. %appdata%/roaming...) - Open the standard MC launcher and make a new instance in the normal MC launcher. (In the new windows launcher this is located under 'Launch options'). You should change the 'Game directory' to the Technic directory link you saved earlier and change 'Version' to the correct version of forge you wish to use. Fin. Please note if the packs Forge version updates you will have to manually re-install forge and change the 'Version' to this newest version of forge You can't access the launcher/packs won't update on the launcher (or) you wish to add client mods Before you do anything you need to have access to the latest version of the modpack. If you're having trouble running a custom modpack you can usually contact the modpack author and they will have the direct download link. I don't know what you would do for Technic packs (need to ask the Technic staff). Although this doesn't benefit Technic please note if you're really having trouble you may find your pack on a different launcher. (Won't advertise any here but you probably know them). - Download and extract the .zip file. Copy and save the location of the directory of the modpack you just extracted somewhere so you don't forget it. (Example directory. C:\Users\[username]\Desktop\[Modpack name]) - Go into /bin/version.json. You should change the 'Game directory' to the directory link you saved earlier and change 'Version' to the correct version of forge you wish to use. - Fin. Please note if the packs Forge version updates you will have to manually re-install forge and change the 'Version' to this newest version of forge. Also note that you will have to re-download the lastest .zip file everytime the modpack updates and update the mods + config folders). - For client mods simply follow the same steps (above) but add the desires mod(s) in the 'mods' folder. Make sure you have permission from both the mod author and modpack author to add this to the pack.
  17. The easiest way of doing this is to simply launch your modpack, click 'add server' and add your server with an appropriate name. Now find where your minecraft instance is located e.g. %appdata%/roaming etc... for normal MC or for technic click 'modpack options', 'open' and that should work. Now just copy and paste the servers.dat file into the main directory of your modpack.zip file. (p.s. the 'main directory' means it's outside all other directories (folders). It doesn't belong in any of the folders you stated and instead lies outside them).
  18. Yes. There is a workaround. Change www.[dropbox link]dl=0 to dl.[dropbox link]dl=1 For example for my modpack... https://www.dropbox.com/s/ugdr26fu4uc106z/modpack.zip?dl=0 I changed to https://dl.dropbox.com/s/ugdr26fu4uc106z/modpack.zip?dl=1
  19. Yes. I seem to have a similar problem. I figured out a while ago a pretty effective way of doing this. The only problem is since it's a 1.10.2 pack you may need to keep updating Forge to the correct version. (If anyone has a better way of doing this btw please do say). - So to start click on 'modpack options' in the technic launcher and click 'open' to view the location of the modpack folder Go into the 'bin' folder and open 'versions' using a text editor of some sort. A line in the text file should tell you what version of forge it's currently running on. Visit https://files.minecraftforge.net/. Download and run the correct installer. Now use the launch options in minecraft to change the game directory to the same directory as where the files are installed on technic (this may look slightly different if your running an older version of the launcher but the same applies). Don't select latest release 1.11.2 btw, select the correct forge install for the 'version'. That should work. You may have to manually re-install forge if their version of forge changes again but I doubt this will happen.
  20. Important announcement After careful consideration, we have decided to remove the whitelist. This means that any player can now join the server if they have the 'Singularity' modpack installed. p.s. I have tried editing the thread to show that the server is no longer whitelisted but it doesn't seem to be working. This will hopefully be fixed soon. FIXED!

  22. Feel free to come and have a chat. Discord: https://discord.gg/utk7Bxw Unity Universe is a new 24/7 server hosted on the custom modpack 'Singularity' which is a pack entirely centered around suggested mods from our own players. We have a great community of players, alongside very experienced staff members from both EU & US timezones. The server dosen't have any worldborders, offers protection through Mytown 2 (similar to Towny), has it's own modded economy (universal coins) and market. Server i.p: 51.254.31.252:25602 (Alternative i.p: uu.mc-server.net) Technic launcher link: http://bit.ly/2ksa9I9 Gallery: http://imgur.com/a/Za4R8 The modpack Singularity is our attempt at making the best modpack we could for every player who joined the server without making the modpack too large. The majority of the mods are suggestions from staff/players on the server as we didn't want just one persons input. We are always open to mod suggestions/tweaks and with more than 3 years experience we hope we can carry on making modpacks for newer versions of MC in the future. History Although Unity Universe is new, the server was formed from the original owners of 'Prot3ch' which was originally founded in the era of Tekkit Classic. The Prot3ch server has gone through many different incarnations (some good, some bad) but ultimately we've lingered like a bad egg =3.
