Well there's no issue with wireless/ports since it's an ethernet connection Does the server box stay online all the time even if you can't access it? I do reccomend you check your FML-latest.log and latest.log in the 'logs' directory(folder) and post them to pastebin.net so I can help diagnose any problems with the client.

Prot3ch is a small community custom modpack server that has existed since the first release of tekkit classic. The server is completely freebuild, meaning you are free to build in nearly any location you choose. For protection against greifers we use greifprevention and prism ontop of daily world back ups in case there are severe griefs. The fact that the server is whitelisted also helps with filtering out greifers. Our modpack Protonus is quite varied and has mods such as ThaumCraft, MineFactoryReloaded, IC2, Mekanism, Biomes O’ Plenty, ComputerCraft, OpenComputers and much more! A complete mod list and changes to the configs can be found at prot3ch.net/modpack. We are also very open to mod suggestions! (Please make your suggestions on the forums so they can be discussed with the staff and the community.) We are using WorldBorder, this is to have the world preloaded so that you can freely explore without having to deal with lag! The world border is currently 6000 blocks in radius centered on spawn. Believe me, this is more than enough. If it would ever be required we can expand the world border, although this is incredibly unlikely. Check inside the acctuall millinaire .zip file. You can't just plonk it in the mods folder. Instructions should be in the .zip file.

You can also ban explosions in certain mods config files. Check the files for each mod and see if you can disable explosions.

Can I ask if your using a host e.g. redstonehost. Also, try reseting your 'lib' files & your minecraft_server.jar file. Remember to keep a backup incase though.

Google 'port forwarding a minecraft server'. If it's not to do with port forwarding, then please send the logfile when you start the server up please. Thanks!

It's basically bukkit ported for normal minecraft, this means you can run plugins found here: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/ So you can run rollback/logblock plugins such as coreprotect, or simply run essentials, commandbook etc... p.s. Sorry the threads on the FTB forums. I found significant lack of intrest over here with my thread =3.

Hold on... I think some people may have seen this wrong. Right from the first post. Read through it CAREFULLY. If you make any content available on or through our Game, you must give us permission to use, copy, modify and adapt that content. This permission must be irrevocable, and you must also let us permit other people to use, copy, modify and adapt your content. If you don‘t want to give us this permission, do not make content available on or through our Game. Please think carefully before you make any content available, because it will be made public and might even be used by other people in a way you don‘t like. This surely means that us being mojang can permit people to copy, modify and adapt your mod but they don't neccesarily have to. Meaning you can still stop people using/modifying your mod... Untill mojang says otherwise.

Personally, from my experience the only GOOD way to host a file is via ftp. This requires a little knowledge but just go for a free webhost e.g. 000webhost and setup an ftp account, upload the files you need, go to the website address and just copy the links. - However, I would recommend bitbucket. Just upload each new .zip file with a commit (changelog) and copy the links, you can make free private repository's with bitbucket and it much exceeds the github file limit.
